A school in Australia has surprised skyscrapers, museums and airports by taking the title of Best Building of 2024.
Chippendale's Darlington School has beaten more than 220 other designs to win the annual award at the World Architecture Festival held in Singapore. CNN.
Opened last year, it has several divisions, with unusual roofs and large spaces.
The company that changed the school building last year, described the new design as "radical transformation".
The school, which also has a nursery system, has a capacity for 500 students.
It is the 17th edition of this festival. The best building is chosen by a panel of 175 delegates. An observatory in Cyprus, a bus station in Poland and a solar energy factory in Turkey also received other important awards.
