Photographer Platon has captured high-contrast images of some of the world's most famous faces, including former US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, tennis player Serena Williams, billionaire businessman Elon Musk, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg , by singers Adele and Harry Styles.
All of these were photographed by Plato, while they were sitting in front of his camera.
But now the British artist is ditching his portraits, releasing a new collection of works that each contain just an iris from the eyes of these celebrities, powerful political leaders and controversial figures. Meanwhile, who owns the iris will remain a secret to anyone but the buyers of the images.
Platon, who is a regular photographer for "Time" magazine, said that he saw different sides of the eyes of the figures he photographed.
"I looked into the eyes of Gaddafi and Putin. He also had close moments with the Prince and Edward Snowden", he said, announcing that his project to share only the iris of the celebrity's eye, he called "Eye Love You, Eye Hate You".

All these views, in total 36 photographs of the eyes of some of the most influential people in the world, he will sell while only the buyer will be able to understand whose eye he is buying.
