A group of 165 people from a Belgian village have collectively won more than €143 million in the EuroMillions lottery.
Residents from Olmen, in the province of Antwerp, paid equally to buy tickets at the local newsagent.
Each of them won around 868,000 euros, according to the Belgian National Lottery.
There were more than 27 million entries for Tuesday's draw, the BBC reported on Thursday.
EuroMillions said the final jackpot was €142,897,164.
Joke Vermoere, a spokesman for the National Lottery, said that group wins were not uncommon in Belgium, but that this was the biggest group win ever. She described the win as "the best Christmas present".
The owner of the newsagent, who has organized group buys for several years, told Radio Belgium he had to repeat the news "five to six times" as his customers could not believe they had won. The identity of the winners has not been announced.
It's not the biggest EuroMillions jackpot ever - a single player from the UK won £195m in July.
Months ago, a British couple from Gloucester won £184 million.
The EuroMillions jackpot is organized in nine European countries: Belgium, France, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.
