An American has won three million dollars from the lottery in Missouri. Upi wrote that he had stopped at the store to buy lunch, when he decided to buy a lottery ticket.
He said the ticket was a scratch and later realized that the $30 ticket made him a millionaire.
"I don't normally play the $30 tickets, but since I had previously won $60 from other games, I thought 'why not,'" added the man, whose identity was not disclosed.
He emphasized that he was extremely surprised with the jackpot, until he added that it took time for his wife to believe the news.
