Vulini assures Putin about Serbia's "alliance", complains about Kosovo

"The situation in the region is very difficult. We have unilateral attempts by Pristina to completely change the situation on the ground, violate Resolution 1244 and attempt to carry out ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia", said Vulini during the meeting with the Russian president.

Serbia is an ally of Russia and will never, for any price, impose sanctions on the cause of the war in Ukraine, is the guarantee that the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, has given to the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

Vulini met Putin on Wednesday in Vladivostok, Russia, on the sidelines of an economic forum.
He has assured the Russian president that Serbia is not only a strategic partner, but also an ally of Russia and that because of this attitude, Vulin has emphasized that official Belgrade has been put under tremendous pressure.

"Well, Serbia, led by the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vučić, is a Serbia that will never become a member of the NATO pact, that will never impose sanctions on Russia and will never allow anti-Russian actions to be carried out. from its territory", said Vulin.

He also used the meeting with Putin to complain about Kosovo.

"The situation in the region is very difficult. We have unilateral attempts by Pristina to totally change the situation on the ground, violate Resolution 1244 and attempt to carry out ethnic cleansing of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia", the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia emphasized.

The American State Department (DASH) said earlier that the American attitude towards Vulini is "well known" and that he is under American sanctions. Previously, the European Union (EU) said that "maintaining ties with Russia at the time of aggression against Ukraine is not in line with EU values and the membership process".

"The EU has been completely clear with our partners: relations with Russia cannot be normal after Russia's unprovoked and unjustified war against Ukraine," the European bloc said in a response to Radio Free Europe.

The Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, has said that Vulin's visit to Russia is "nothing so terrible".

"We have not severed diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation, it is not forbidden for anyone to meet with the representatives of the Russian Federation", he told REL. Vucevic added that Serbia does not encourage the war in Ukraine and that it does not support the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity. He recalled that the prime minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, as prime minister of a member country of the European Union and NATO, was recently in Moscow and met with Putin.

"If Orbani is allowed, of course Vullini can also meet him. I don't see where there is a difference or a different approach", said the Prime Minister of Serbia.

Vulin has been to Moscow several times since the start of Russia's war in Ukraine. He is known for his connections with Russia, while since July 11 of last year he has been put on the American blacklist for "corruption and destabilizing actions" in order to advance his agendas and personal interests, harming peace. and stability in the Western Balkans.
