The police with a new raid operation in the north of Kosovo

Investigations into the terrorist attack on the Police on September 24 have led to the continuation of raids in the north. Three locations were checked on Wednesday. Of them, two in North Mitrovica and one in Zvecan. Apart from confirming the raids, the Kosovo Police did not share any other details about the operation

The north of Kosovo was again the target of raids by the Kosovo Police.

On Wednesday, the Police raided three different locations, in connection with the case of the attack in Banjska i Zvecani.

During the operation, according to the Kosovo Police, no one was arrested.

The raids in the north are being carried out as part of the investigation into the terrorist attack against the Kosovo Police on September 24, where Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed.

After the attack in September, the presence of NATO mission troops has increased in Kosovo.

On Wednesday, before the start of the 2-day summit of the Summit of Defense Ministers, the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has assessed such an action by the Transatlantic Alliance as important.

"We have seen a new increase in tensions there, which is why it is important that NATO has increased its presence in Kosovo," Stoltenberg emphasized.

Raids in several locations in the north of Kosovo were carried out weeks ago. Among them, those in the properties of the leader of the Serbian paramilitary group, Milan Radoicic.
