The Minister of Trade, Industry and Enterprise, Rozeta Hajdari, has been sentenced to a 700 euro fine by the Basic Court in Prishtina, after she violated two deadlines for declaring assets during the period in the Kurti Government 1. Minister Hajdari, while admitting the guilt, was justified that in at that time she was in charge of work in the Ministry as a result of COVID-19
The Basic Court in Pristina has found the Minister of Industry, Trade and Enterprise, Rozeta Hajdari, guilty of not declaring assets during 2020. The penalty imposed on her is a 700 euro fine.
The judge of the case, Donikë Shala-Adyli, during the announcement of the verdict, mentioned that during 2020, Minister Hajdari was officially notified of the dates within which she had to declare the assets, and despite this, she violated the deadline in February and the additional one in June.
The sentence is not final and can be appealed within 15 days.
Minister Hajdari pleaded guilty on Wednesday in front of the court, while saying that she was in charge of measures to support businesses that were hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this regard, KOHA on Thursday did not receive an answer from the Ministry, the minister's lawyer or from herself, despite the efforts.
