Gucati: Lushtaku goes to the Prosecutor's Office when Kurti goes too

come on, go away

The presence of the Special Unit in Skenderaj on Thursday evening has prompted a reaction from the KLA War Veterans Organization. Its chairman, Hysni Gucati, said there was a “city siege,” accusing acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla. The deputy mayor, Fadil Nura, also described the presence of the special unit as unnecessary and excessive for an isolated incident.

According to him, the Special Unit was located in 17 points in Skenderaj.

"We didn't come today for the pleasure of visiting, we came because we had a siege in Drenica last night, especially in the municipality of Skenderaj, which we have only had in 1999. 17 points in the municipality of Skenderaj were the special unit, they were with long weapons, it was an unnecessary siege by the Government of Albin Kurti and the Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla, which was unnecessary," Gucati declared.

He said that Sami Lushtaku did not escape justice, but drew parallels between Lushtaku's failure to appear for an interview and Kurti's failure to appear for an interview regarding the state reserves case.

"Sami Lushtaku has been sentenced to 12 years in UNMIK prisons, he is not a man who flees justice, he is a man who has dedicated his entire life to the national issue, he has responded to our justice. Why does he not surrender to the Prosecution and its call is precisely Albin Kurti's fault. Albin Kurti is a man who came to power with violence, with blood, by burning down the parliament and today does not respond to the prosecution, because Albin Kurti has not responded to the SPRK to this day. When the master of the house does not respond to a call from an institution, then why should we respond to this justice when Albin Kurti escapes justice", emphasized Gucati.

Even the deputy mayor of Skenderaj, Fadil Nura, has deemed the presence of the Special Unit in the city unnecessary.

"Such a manifestation of Force... Force presents power and violence, it was completely unnecessary, absolutely unnecessary and you have seen the reactions of the citizens, this has shown an extreme irritation among the citizens because it was completely unnecessary. Any siege of that level was completely banal, if I may use this expression, because an isolated incident did not need that manifestation," said Nura.

The KLA War Veterans Organization during the early hours of the day invited veterans and citizens to gather near the Police station in Skenderaj, during the interview of the mayor, Sami Lushtaku.
