The 5 injured from the conflict with firearms between two gangs on Sunday in the capital, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, have been ordered to be detained by the Basic Court in Pristina.
The hearing for them was held at the KKUK clinics, where they are also receiving the necessary medical treatment.
In the request of the Prosecutor's Office for detention, which was published by "Betimi per dirësi", it is said that the suspects Korab Gashi and his brother, now deceased, Premtim Gashi, entered a cafe, and with long guns shot in the direction of the defendants Salih Sekiraqa, Faton Abazi and a minor.
After the two Gashi brothers start to leave the bar, the Prosecution's document states that Salih Sekiraqa and Faton Abazi opened fire with firearms, killing Premtim Gashi.
In this document of the prosecution body, it is stated that other suspects fled the scene in four-wheeled vehicles.
The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, also spoke about this event. She called on the institutions to hold those involved accountable.
"For me, it is unacceptable that criminals, criminal groups are tolerated by the justice system or try to challenge the law and consider that they are above the law and above the state. Therefore, in this case, I call on each institution to carry out the responsibility at the highest level in order not to allow criminals or criminal groups to do such actions. They must answer to justice", Haxhiu said.
Two days after the murder and gun fight, there were gunshots on "Gazmend Zajmi" street in Pristina on Tuesday as well.
It is suspected that after a verbal confrontation, a person fired a gun.
According to images published on social networks, a person is seen threatening a worker of "Extrem Pizza" with a weapon.
