The body of the third attacker is found, the village of Banjskë remains blocked

On Monday, the body of the third murdered person was found who, according to the State Prosecutor's Office, acted as part of the terrorist group that attacked the Kosovo Police. A day after the attack, where a Kosovo policeman was killed, the Police seized a significant amount of weapons that were used or expected to be used in the future by the members of this criminal gang. Some Serbian family members tried to go to Manastir where they suspected the bodies of their murdered family members were, but they were not allowed because the road leading to the village of Banjska was blocked all day.

The body of the third person killed who belonged to the armed group of Serbs was found on Monday in Zveçan, the State Prosecutor's Office confirmed.

She, in cooperation with the Police, continued to lead the investigative actions in the village of Banjské.

"Consequently, the Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo confirms that, from the moment when the case of the terrorist attack occurred and up to these moments, the prosecutor of the case, Naim Abazi, was intensively present at the scene to secure the evidence in the best possible way adequate, which will completely illuminate the unfortunate course of yesterday's terrorist case. In fact, the PSRK confirms that today a dead body was found at the scene, of the third person killed, who had acted as part of the terrorist group that attacked the Kosovo Police, and also today, a significant amount was seized of the weaponry that was used and expected to be used in the future by the members of this criminal gang. "Also, another car with weapons was found in Zveçan, while throughout the day the action for the location of the houses and the identification of the suspected persons related to the attack on Sunday continued," the announcement of the Prosecutor's Office states.

The road leading to the Monastery in the village of Banjskë continued to be blocked for traffic on Monday. A car and several members of the special unit have been standing at the entrance of the village the entire time.

In front of them, in the mountainous area, there were also other members of the Kosovo Police.

The only vehicles entering the village were those of the Kosovo Police, the Prosecutor's Office and the Forensic Medicine. Members of KFOR and EULEX also went to the area.

In the afternoon, a KFOR helicopter also flew over Banjska.

Meanwhile, Serbs who have introduced themselves as family members of those killed have tried to go to the Monastery. After not being allowed to pass, an elderly man turned back in his car saying that his son was killed in yesterday's action.

A greater effort was made by this Serbian woman, who for several minutes begged the members of the police to allow her to go to her family. Despite the refusal of the police, she continued to stay for several minutes until other members arrived, who took her by car and sent her in the direction of Zveçan and Mitrovica.

Then on social networks she wrote that one of the killed is her brother, Igor Milenkovic.

However, several vehicles, including taxis with people posing as local residents, entered the village. However, each car was previously subject to police control.

There were also checks on some cars that were driving on the Zveçan-Leposaviq highway.

On Sunday, a member of the Kosovo Police was killed and two others were injured during clashes with an armed group in the north, inhabited mainly by Serbs. It has also been confirmed that three people were killed by the attacking group, while six others were arrested.
