The accused in the terrorist attack in “Ibër-Lepenc” are declared innocent

The three defendants in the November 2024 terrorist attack on the “Ibër-Lepenc” canal in Varaga, Zubin Potok, have pleaded not guilty before the court, at the initial hearing. According to the indictment of the Prosecution, in this attack, the “Ibër-Lepenc” enterprise was caused damage of nearly 400 thousand euros.

Jovan and Dragisa Vicentijevic, and Igor Dimovic, accused of the terrorist attack on the "Iber-Lepenc" canal in Varaga, Zubin Potok, in November 2024, have been declared innocent.

According to the Special Prosecution, The two brothers Jovan and Dragisa Viqentijevic are accused of the criminal offenses of "endangering the constitutional order", "committing a terrorist act" and  "unauthorized possession of weapons".

Defendant Igor Dimović is also charged with the latter charge.

The defendant made the plea of ​​guilty after special prosecutor Bekim Kodraliu read the indictment.

According to the indictment, on November 29, 2024, the two Vičentijević brothers, together with other unknown persons, placed about 20 kilograms of Trinitrotoluene (TNI) explosives, which are for military use, inside the canal.

"They had tied it with a rope to a concrete pillar, positioning it in such a way as to cause serious damage to critical infrastructure, water and electricity supply. Through a fuse, they activated the explosive, causing a powerful explosion, which as a result severely damaged the concrete structure," said special prosecutor Bekim Kodraliu.

The two Vičentijević brothers are also accused of illegal possession of weapons.

According to the indictment, a considerable amount of military weapons was found in their homes, one in Zubin-Potok and the other in the village of Prevlak, in the same municipality.

Igor Dimović is also charged with the criminal offense of "Unlicensed Possession of Weapons", where during a police search of his home, weapons and several military uniforms were found.

Defendant Jovan Vicentijevic is also accused of espionage.

"Another 66-page document classified as confidential, compiled by KFOR, for the needs of their field operations, then monitored the movements of American KFOR soldiers, photographed the base of Kosovo's special police units in Jasenovik," stated Prosecutor Kodraliu.

According to the indictment, the "Ibër-Lepenc" enterprise suffered damage of approximately 400 thousand euros.

Brothers Dragisa and Jovan Viqentijevic were found to have mud on their boots that matched the structure, color, and composition of what was found at the site of the terrorist attack with explosives.
