The news about the relocation of the "Sunny Hill" festival from Pristina to Tirana is at the center of the discussion during Tuesday in Kosovo. The director of Culture in the Municipality of Suharekë, Lorika Gashi, has invited the organizers to organize the festival in Suharekë and not in Tirana.
"Come to Suhareka. We welcome you, without blockades but with the support of the municipality and citizens", wrote Gashi on Facebook.
"Sunny Hill" will not be organized in Pristina this year. This festival will be moved to Tirana. The organizers blamed the state institutions for the failure of the organization in Kosovo.
Until Tuesday was the deadline for the institutions in Kosovo to respond to the use of the location. In the official announcement of the Festival, it is confirmed that the move to Tirana was made due to delays in response from the authorities for the granting of the property's permission for use.
