After the exhibition of 100 portraits of "People's Heroes" on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Anti-Fascist War in Albania, another decoration has been added to Tirana.
The image of the "Mother Albania" monument was displayed on Sunday evening in front of the University of Tirana Corps, part of the preparations for the 75th anniversary of the liberation from Nazi fascist invaders by the Municipality of Tirana.
"November of the Martyrs! The stylization of Mother Albania was decided near the university campus in Tirana," said the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
This year, Albania celebrates the 75th anniversary of liberation from Nazi fascist invaders. This event, the most important in the country's history, will be commemorated according to a historical calendar. The celebrations will culminate on November 29, where the sacrifice of the country's martyrs and veterans will be commemorated and honored.
