A decision of King Zog which has been welcomed (By our special envoy) Tirana, March 30. "The beautiful Albanian women have revealed their faces since four days ago. The staunch Muslim but modern ruler, King Ahmet Zogu, has in fact adopted a law from Parliament ordering the women of his kingdom to give up the "charçafi - ferexheja", an old custom imposed in the XNUMXth century by the Turks, when they invaded Albania after the death of the Albanian national hero Skënderbeu.
This decision has aroused great joy throughout Albania: among the women, first, who are, like all the daughters of Eve, happy to be admired, and among all the young people.
