Isa Alibali, a well-known cultural figure, died at the age of 78. He is known for his contribution as a writer and playwright. He was born in Shkodër on January 26, 1940. Graduated in Language and Literature in 1960, he worked for 3 years in Mirdita and was the first director of the Gymnasium of Rrëshen, then he was an inspector in the education and culture section of Shkodër and in 1965 chief inspector of culture in that section.
From the middle of 1967 until the end of 1982, he was the director of the "Migjeni" Theater, with a three-year break, as the director of the House of Culture and Popular Creativity (1969-72). Then he was the director of the artistic high school "Prenkë Jakova" and for the last three years, until his retirement in 1991, he worked as a literature teacher in the general high school "Jordan Misja".
He is the author of many works. 2002, "Acknowledgment" related to the most prominent figures of the cultivated art of Shkodra and beyond, such as actors, directors, writers, composers, singers, our outstanding painters, etc.
He is the author of several books such as: "With Tano Banushi and his humor", which unfolds the life and artistic - humorous activity of the colossus of Albanian humor Tano Banushi, as well as about many well-known actors of humor in Shkodër, who have radiated values throughout Albania. Another publication of Alibali is the book of memories "How I met Mirdita" which presents the impressions from the work in Mirdita in the field of education in the author's youth, also as the first director of the first Gymnasium of Rrëshen, in 1960.
"Roots of Love" (Shkodra for Kosovo) is another book related to the close relations between Shkodra and Kosovo, in history, education, culture and arts and their mutual influences. This is the first book of its kind, which expresses the feelings of love between these Albanian territories, common traditions and mutual contributions to each other. The book contains memories, activity traditions, portraits, impressions, tourist trips, reports and events experienced far and near Kosovo.
