The house of two big families of Peja

Among the streets with low houses in Peja, one is really special. She has entered her 11th decade, but she is stoic. It was started to be built by the well-known Spahi family, but it was not completed by them.

It is known as Haki Spahi's Konaku and it is said that it was an integral part of this family's complex, within which complex there were also other objects, Koha Ditore writes today.

In the part that is known to the elderly as "Pehlivan Mejdan", the house was built only as a structure. For furnishing, it was left to the Mahmutbegoll family, which bought the house. It was bought by Hasimi, sometime in the second decade of the XNUMXth century.

His descendants today keep some of the furniture from that time. His granddaughter, Aida Begolli, is not coincidentally part of the team responsible for preserving the entire cultural heritage of the Peja region. She grew up in a monumental environment.
