The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports of Albania, Blendi Gonxhja, hosted a meeting with representatives of "Universal Music Hospitality & Lifestyle", Robert Lavia (CEO), Maxi Johal and Massimo Tucci from "Tucci Associates".
"Universal Music Group" is the world's largest company in the music industry, with a global network that represents some of the biggest names in world music, such as "The Beatles", "U2", Andrea Bocelli, Elton John, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Eminem, Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish and dozens of other iconic artists.
This international reputation gives special weight to their interest in Albania.
Minister Gonxha, through social networks, explained that during the conversation, the opportunities offered by Albania to combine tourism with art were discussed, using the unique nature as a space for filming and artistic productions by prestigious studios such as "Universal".
The interest in Albania represents an important opportunity, positioning it in an international network where art, culture and the hospitality industry interact. Investments in hospitality can be expanded with spaces dedicated to artists, creative studios and theaters, bringing a new approach to the sustainable development of cultural tourism.
"The collaboration of 'Universal Music Group' with the World Tourism Organisation and its involvement in projects of this level give this partnership a strategic dimension, paving the way for initiatives that strengthen Albania's image as an attractive destination for creativity, art and elite tourism," Gonxha is quoted as saying.
