The Kosovo Council for Cultural Heritage, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and other institutions in this field, on Monday discussed processes that have been stalled since the post-war period, such as the permanent protection of monuments.

That everything must start from zero, as far as the assets that do not have this status, is also known from the presentation of the application that must be completed by the institutions of the Ministry of Culture, in order to propose to the KKTK monuments to be declared under permanent protection.
The KKTK, which was operationalized in July 2015, after declaring 23 assets under permanent protection in October 2016, has not shown any results in this regard, while on Monday it presented the new form of the application in a certain form now requires another way of proposing monuments for permanent protection.
