PJ Harvey in the USA with the story also brought to life in Kosovo

The English musician and lyricist, PJ Harvey, was in Kosovo for the second time in December 2015. This fact-gathering mission would spark the inspiration for the album he would make a year later, "The Hope Six Demolition Project".

During her stay in Kosovo, she kept a diary of her travels so that her thoughts and objections were also adapted into a radio drama that appeared on the BBC. "On Kosovo Field" was written by Fin Kennedy and unfolded the story of two children born in Kosovo, raised in Manchester, who return to their homeland after learning that a mass grave has been discovered near their home. Narrated over five episodes and airing demo songs woven by Harvey into the narration, the program featured former Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan and Mad Fat Dairy's Nico Mirallegro.

Meanwhile, the film "A Dog Called Money", written and directed by the well-known photojournalist Seamus Murphy, tells the journeys of Murphy and Harvey through Washington, Kosovo and Afghanistan. They spawned not only the album, but other collaborative projects including The Hollow of the Hand, a 224-page book featuring Harvey's poems alongside Murphy's photographs.

The Murphy-Harvey duo have worked together since 2011, when Murphy made the videos for her 12 songs on her acclaimed album Let England Shake.

The 10th edition of the international documentary and short film festival "DokuFest" was the reason for Harvey to come to Kosovo in 2011. There she released her eighth album "Let England Shake".

At that time, in an interview for Kohavision and "Koha Ditore", the British artist had promised that she would return with a concert in Kosovo.
