Every morning the Kosovar painter Shkurte Ramushi opens her computer. For him it has turned into a kind of gallery. There you can see the works that are being exhibited in different places. Recently, her painting "Paradisus Terra" has become part of the virtual exhibition "Identity", which was opened by "The Holy Art" gallery in London.

"The Holy Art" also acts as an organization which aims to organize exhibitions of art and photography in the United Kingdom, but also beyond. According to its description on the official website, it aims to support artists. The "Indentity" exhibition, opened on January 29, is accessible virtually until February 7. It revolves around the theme of identity and the paintings that were submitted had to be the ones that represent the artists.

The 28-year-old painter has applied to this exhibition with the painting "Paradisus Terra", since, according to her, it is the work that best represents her artistic style.

In short, Ramushi's favorite technique is oil colors on canvas and paper. For her paintings, she is inspired by nature, society, but also by her feelings. These elements are woven into the painting that is being exhibited in London. It is a work from her cycle "Paradise on Earth".

"The painting is from the theme of earthly paradise. I have called it 'Paradisus Terra', a Latin name, but which speaks concretely of heaven on earth. The painting was made last year, but I believe that it is one of the paintings that best represents my motifs in painting, it represents the earthly paradise", she said.

According to her, this painting best represents her in international exhibitions, as she wants to be recognized precisely through this style.

"The painting talks about nature, about heaven on earth, about the heaven that we have every day close to us, every day we step on it, but we don't call it that, and every day we try to look for something abstract, to look for heaven in the sky or anywhere else. But I think heaven is what we live and see for every day. It is what we must preserve for future generations," she said.

But online exposure wasn't easy at first. Ramushi said that at first she thought it was something very difficult, but while exploring, she saw that it is an opportunity to promote her art.

"This is also the goal of the artists, to exhibit the works they create because they do not do it only for themselves, but they should influence the conscience of society or the public. I have seen online exposure as a good opportunity, despite the fact that this kind of movement is probably not healthy in a form where we stay closed and work only virtually," she said.

He added that online exposure and promotion of the art of artists from Kosovo, which is closed and isolated from Europe and the world, are a very good opportunity that is being offered to them. "Since the whole world is working in this way, why not us too", she said.

Now, this way of exposure enables the Kosovar artist to communicate more easily with the public. Recently, his participation in the virtual exhibition "Online Karma Art Exhibition" in Turkey has been confirmed.
