The International Poetry Festival is held in Rahovec from September 13-15

The Fund for Cultural Education and Heritage has announced that from September 13 to 15, 2019, the fifth edition of the International Poetry Festival will be held in Rahovec, where poems from different countries around the world will be presented.

The participants in this festival will be prominent authors from different countries of the world. Anne Tannam from Ireland, Ali al Ameri from the United Arab Emirates, Andre Singer from the USA, Beppe Costa from Italy, Tendo Taijin from Japan, Mercedes Roffe from Argentina, Miriam Neiger Fleischmann from Israel will be present at this festival. Jack McCann- from Ireland, Luan Rama from Albania/France, Olimbi Velaj from Albania, Peter Andrej from Slovenia, Vladimir Martinovski from Macedonia, Ramiz Huremagic from Bosnia, Ndrekë Gjini- from Albania/Ireland, Kristian Wikborg Wiese from Norway, Poul Lynggaard Damgaard from Denmark as well as poets from Kosovo Faruk Buzhala, Xhevat Latifi, Tahir Hoxha, Jeton Kelmendi, Lulzim Tafa, Donika Dabishevci, Sali Bashota, Sibel Halimi, Murteza Osdautaj Vjollca Kuqi and Ismail Gashi.

It has been announced that the literary creativity of the poet for children, Jonuz Fetahaj, will be promoted at this festival.

The participants in the fifth edition of the International Poetry Festival in Rahovec will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the tradition, art and culture of Kosovo.

The International Poetry Festival in Rahovec for five years now brings together the most powerful voices of the world poetry scene and enables the audience to get to know poets and poetry that is being cultivated at this time.

The director of the International Poetry Festival is the poet, Fahredin Shehu.
