The Albanian edition of "Kusari" is being promoted today in Doha, Qatar

At the invitation of the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Qatar, and in cooperation with the Forum of Arab and International Relations in Doha, the Albanian edition of the novel "Kusari" by the author from Qatar, Abdulaziz Mahmud, is being promoted today at 18 p.m.

The novel was published a month ago by the publishing house Buzuku in cooperation with the Institute for Oriental Studies (ISO) in Pristina.

The ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Doha, Amir Ahmeti, the director of the Institute for Oriental Studies in Pristina, Muhamed Mufaku, the writer Ibrahim Kadriu, the translator of the novel Ejup Ramadani and the author Abdulaziz Al Mahmud will take part in the promotion.

It is worth mentioning that the novel "Kusari" deals with a fascinating narrative of the great political and social changes in the Gulf countries during the century. XIX, including the appearance of the Wahhabi movement in that region and the appearance of Mehmet Ali Pasha's Albanian soldiers in bloody battles against the forces of this movement. The said novel enjoyed success with many editions in Arabic and with English translation.

On the occasion of the stay of Kosovar intellectuals in Doha, the Ministry of Culture in Qatar took the initiative for a meeting with Qatari writers tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11 o'clock and a lunch in honor of their arrival in Qatar and for the first cultural contact of this level in two countries.
