The sounds of traditional American music on Thursday gave energy to the "League Square" in Prizren. Even local residents and visitors from other countries, although they were not many in number, could not refrain from dancing.

Performances on a violin, a guitar and a double bass of folk music have created a festive atmosphere in the center of the old town. In addition, the members of the band "Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road" from Oklahoma in the United States of America have rated the venue of the concert in Prizren as one of the most beautiful in their career, "Koha Ditore" writes today. .

American folk music performers are visiting Kosovo as part of a program supported by the US Embassy in Pristina, in partnership with Voices of America - American Music Abroad. From April 4 to 8, this musical group will hold public concerts and workshops for students throughout Kosovo. The first stop for Kyle Dillingham (violin), Peter Markes (guitar) and Brent Saulsbury (double bass) was Prizren, namely the "Lorenc Antoni" music school, and a few hours later the stage set at "Sheshi i Laga". In this square, the public concert was held under the open sky, in which case Kyle Dillingham evaluated the urban landscape of the historical center as "one of the most beautiful places where we held a concert".

The American musician says that his band came to Kosovo after applying to be part of a program of the US Department of State called American Music Abroad.

He emphasized that the band had an amazing experience on Thursday morning thanks to the workshop for creating songs and writing lyrics at the School of Music in Prizren.
