Lovro Peretić again sends the "Ehat Musa" award to Croatia

The four-day marathon of concerts by world-renowned guitarists and the competition for the best guitarist award has ended with the announcement of the winners.

The fourth edition of the International Guitar Festival in Peja ended on Sunday night at the city theater "Istref Begolli", writes "Koha Ditore" today.

Seven guitarists competed for the festival's top prize, four of whom were from Croatia and the other three from Thailand, Belgium and the Netherlands. The main prize of the festival, which bears the name of the famous Pejan guitarist, Ehat Musa, went to Croatia, like the three previous editions.

The jury composed of world-class guitarists, some of whom have been lecturers in the held masterclasses as well as concert performers - Alejandro Cordova from Mexico, Margarita Escarpa from Spain, Ehat Musa, Petrit Čeku, Thomas Offermann, Pia Gazarek Offermann and Julia e Christian Zielniski from Germany, Monika Kranjc-Stih from Slovenia and Drilon Çoçaj from Kosovo rated the 23-year-old guitarist from Zagreb, Lovro Peretić, as the best.

The first time he competed in the first edition of the festival, when he took the second place, while now he returns to his country not only with the title of the best and with a thousand euro reward. The main prize also brought him a classical guitar worth 4 euros, made by the Italian master, Luka Milani, who personally gave the guitar to him.
