Ten million digitized documents in the funds of the Central State Archive are increasingly expanding the perimeter to become accessible to those interested. The "Archive Corner" project has already opened in one of the halls of the "Marin Barleti" Library, thanks to the support of the Shkodër Municipality and the library of this city.
The mayor of Shkodra, Voltana Ademi, the director of the Inspection Directorate in the General Directorate of Archives, Endrit Musaj, and the director of the Library, Maxhid Cungu, were present at the opening ceremony of this "corner" on Friday.
On this occasion, Musaj from DPA was quoted as saying that "this corner is only valid for study purposes, for documents of a different biographical or property nature".
Meanwhile, the mayor of Shkodra, Voltana Ademi, has said that the Municipality has provided all the necessary infrastructure related to this project.
"This is to serve all those researchers who may be students, lecturers and others, who will come and be assisted on how to operate with this system".

The archival corner of Albania in Kosovo offers access to ten million documents
The community of history researchers will no longer be hindered by the geographical kilometers that separate the Albanian centers. The entire million-dollar fund of documentation in Tirana's archives - which chronicles Albanian history - will be accessible online to those interested.
The "Archive Corner", in November of last year, was also opened in the premises of the State Archives Agency of Kosovo, and then also in Gjilan. Also, this "corner" has been established in the Albanian cities of Macedonia such as Skopje, Tetovo and Kirçovo, while within the territory of Albania such points have also been opened in Gjirokastër and Pogradec.
