However, Afrim Sadiku without a moment of hesitation starts his long story, where he expresses his love for music and the desire to give it new things, writes "Koha Ditore" today.
The whole thing had started as a game for him, in the form of a slightly distant narrative both in time and in reality. He had been told that his father, Metush Sadiku, had been a good vocalist. He was not absent from weddings and celebrations.
Sadiku remembers how they told him that back then good singers were those with a powerful voice, who "lighted the lamp" when they sang. But his father did not know how to play the couplet, nor was he ever taught. He had asked the village headman how he could learn the couplet, and from there a very unusual story had sprung up.
Unusual connection with the couple
Hoxha had told him that whoever goes to the cemetery at night and falls on the couple's back will become its master.
Instead of learning the couplet, Afrim Sadik's father had experienced fear and terror. But Hoxha had found another justification afterwards, "Ani Metush, someone from your family has left me without inheriting the couplet", he had told her.
