Damage to the "Informative Pliss" - an overview of the urban mentality

Pristina, November 12 - Eliza Hoxha's "Informative Plisi" has not survived even a month without being damaged. Located between the National Library of Kosovo "Pjeter Bogdani" and the Orthodox church erected by the Milosevic regime, it has become the target of vandals. The case has not yet reached the police, but the National Gallery of Kosovo has warned that it will soon make the announcement. Even two days after this event, "Plisi..." continues to be damaged.

The table describing the work has been destroyed, as well as the satellites that give shape to this installation. It was placed there as part of the 12th edition of the "Muslim Mulliqi Award" exhibition, which opened on October 18. In this exhibition, the works of 19 artists were presented, selected from 65 who had responded to the call, with the curatorial theme "Are our memories history?". Hoxha's instillation was also part of it, and unlike other works, it was the only one that was placed outside the premises of the National Gallery of Kosovo.

Hoxha condemned this act, which he described as ugly / Sihana Klisurica (in detail today in "Kohën Ditore").
