Determined, reliable, powerful, she is believed to be a woman, an epithet that in the first sense is seen as positive, but also has nuances of discrimination.
"Burrneshat" is the ironic name chosen for the exhibition that presents the discrimination experienced by women, as well as the strength they need to overcome the constant pain and obstacles and the influence of patriarchy in everyone's life, KTV's "Express" reports.
In contrast to men who have always been considered pure personifications of function and intellect, women have always been characterized by beauty, form and emotion.
The lack of greater inclusion of women in the world of art as well as in other fields, as a result of the obstacles they face, were protested through the creation of numerous works of art, which are now exhibited in the National Gallery of Kosovo.

The exhibition "Burrneshat" has a unique and unusual approach that managed to touch many of the participants, by whom it was also called self-aware.
In addition to exhibiting the works, "Burrneshat" will continue with activities for another month. As part of these activities, visits, debates and conversations will be held with a selected panel, with the aim of creating an equal climate for women in society.
