He may not have been unaware that in his sensational career there are also "technical problems", and what happened to him on the second night of the "Sunny Hill Festival" seemed like a deliberate scenario, a test for him. , as well as for the patience of his fans. When Burna Boy returned to the stage, they almost completely forgot about the reception and the technical problems. His performance has been followed by others.
If "believers" are the fans who believe in "Sunny Hill Festival" before the program is released, Burna Boy is the first star of this edition who confirmed that he will be the main stage artist in this year's edition, when the major music event has just had started work in his own house, in the open space in Bërnica te Poshtme. It is a name on the world stage, and it is not for nothing that it is listed among the 100 most influential people of the year. He may not have been unaware that in his sensational career there are also "technical problems", and what happened to him on Friday night on the second night of the festival, seemed like a deliberate scenario, a test for him, as well as for the patience of his fans. For the organizers it is another matter. The Nigerian artiste has made it through, just like his fans.
Some 40 minutes after midnight, Burna Boy has climbed the stage, which takes on different colors with the atmosphere.
"It's the first time I'm coming to this part of Europe and I'm happy to be at the 'Sunny Hill Festival'," he said when he went on stage. After two songs, he left and this is where the next story begins.
The stage lights go out, there are no more colors, the 20-minute wait goes on. The notice of "technical problems" appears on the screen, the mass leaves the stage, but this seems to have been enough rest to accumulate the energy.
When Burna Boy returned to the stage, they almost completely forgot about the reception and the technical problems.

The long-awaited Burna Boy in "Sunny Hill" with a furious return to the stage
"We had technical problems, but we will not stop," he said. As soon as his chapter has started, it has been proven why he is among those who are considered stars of this edition, and moreover as a winner of the "Grammy" award in 2021, when he triumphed with the album "Twice as Tall" in the category " Best Global Music Album".

The waving of the Kosovo flag, wrapping with it all the time, were his "choreography" on the giant stage with a completely "live" orchestra that shakes the atmosphere.
The cries "I love Pristina" are almost like a chorus between his songs. When "Shayo" hits, Burna Boy - wrapped in the yellow and blue flag as are the colors of the stage - can't hold back. He leaves the stage, but now not because of technical problems, but to join the audience.
Burna Boy's original and unique style of music has led him to capture the hearts of audiences around the world, scoring some impressive first-time hits. In 2023, he became the first African artist to sell out all the concert tickets in a US stadium and a year later he became the first afrobeats artist to perform at the prestigious "Grammy" ceremony.
The lighting of fireworks was the last sign of his performance.
Burna Boy continues to make history in the music scene. The one in "Sunny Hill" is one of her pages. The second night of the festival has other aspects, because it starts before the sun sets.
Before dusk on the second night
Pop, rap, afrobeat, alternative and indie, were just some of the genres that kept the public in shape on the second evening of the mega-event of the year. Unlike the first night, which at the beginning many of the attendees took without preparation, either from the clothes, the same and from the progress of the festival, on the second night the measures were taken.
The cooler weather seems to have made the visitors more comfortable. There are no long queues. With the freshness brought by the fact of being located in the middle of a hectare field, the "sunnyhills" as the evening approached, continue with the parade of a rich festival culture.

Waiting for the opening performances of the second day, the crowd is scattered on all four sides of the massive festival park, some gathering energy for the long evening by taking in the last rays of the sun, and some having fun with activities and games which are offered to those present there. Sensitizing messages such as the one against violence against women are also special in this edition. The purple flags in the blue sky are raised as a sign of solidarity and protest for every woman in the country. Also interesting is the reversal of the impression that such a festival attracts only young visitors.
A group of friends from the USA has come just for "Sunny Hill", but for some of them it is not the first time they come to Kosovo.
For Miles, the American who has testified about the development of Kosovo since several years after his comings and goings, the place where "Sunny Hill" is located is the biggest field he has ever seen, considering that he comes from New York.
"It is a very good atmosphere, there is enthusiasm, a lot of energy, Kosovo is growing every year and witnessing this event, seeing all these people having a good time is fantastic. The uniqueness is what makes me love this festival, you can't experience this anywhere else. I have seen artists here that I have never seen and this makes me like it even more", he said.
For his friend Jacob Endemano, "Sunny Hill" can be freely compared with other festivals of the world. He mentioned that he has visited many such festivals and according to him, "Sunny Hill" is similar to them.

"I think that it definitely reaches the international standards of a festival, and in some ways it surpasses them because it celebrates the local culture while also reaching the world, beyond Kosovo. Kosovo and its people are very hospitable and generous in the way they always welcome us Americans. It is a very good experience to be here", he said.
"Sunny..." does not stop only at music. In the ranks of the sensitizing messages stands a separate stand from the others around it that sell food and drinks. "RozitheBeeSaver", the initiative of 11-year-old Rozi from Prishtina, is there to advocate for the environment, bees and the protection of their habitat. And this is the calm side of "Sunny...". The image of the festival is a separate message.
"On" on stage
When the sun hides on the horizon, the main stage takes the shine, which until recently serves for the last rehearsals of the artists. Rapper Jolle (Jon Prelvukaj) from Peja was the first to go up sometime around the early hours of the evening. "Cool" and energetic with a typical appearance of the rapper, Jolle is most likely thrown by the enthusiasm of a performance on such a stage. Said by him too, it was the first time and he felt very happy about it. After rap music, alternative sounds are woven. Kosovo is already known to have dozens of artists who successfully experiment with these genres. This time the western sky behind the massive stage seemed to be an integral part of the main stage with artist Elsa Mala and her guitar. With a more unique and sensitive style in interpretation, Mala brought her alla Kate Bush performance along with constant communication with the audience. Each song comes as a chapter of her life, and with "Table for Two", a song that has been released for a month, she received many ovations from the crowd, which kept growing towards her. Simple on stage Mala greets the crowd to give way to international artist Kamal.
In similar waters was the English artist in his early twenties. Very emotional and calm, he doesn't touch the piano at all during the performance, which brings a lot of hits mainly liked by "Gen Z". He communicates with the public of "SunnyHill" constantly.
"I am very happy to be in 'Sunny Hill' for the first time. Thank you very much Kosovo!", he said before announcing the last song "Blue", his hit that was released in 2021.

180-degree turn with local artists
180 degree change was the rest of a night that had booked many performances. Capital T, one of the most beloved rappers from the local public, climbed the stage of "Sunny Hill" furiously, full of style in a white suit and glasses like a "rap star". It was the first time for him at the house of "Sunny Hill" in Pristina, since he had his debut two years ago when this festival was also moved to Tirana. The fact that he is one of the most popular in the country and beyond, made him sing all the songs together with the audience. In the repertoire he also introduced some of his old songs which brought a kind of nostalgia, together with the nostalgia, as an unexpected guest on stage Capital T was joined by the rapper "2po2" with the song "Pristhinali jom". At the very end, Trim Ademi entered the audience as he took pictures with fans excited by his presence and promised that he would listen to the main artist of the evening BurnaBoy among them and not in the VIP box.
Yll Limani caught the same trend and followed with his consecutive hits. And the audience carried weight without stopping and sang along with him. "I left the zone" was the song that electrified the audience. Ylli was the one who invited Dhurata Dora on stage and the performance continued with "Mall" in duet, which in just two weeks has scored no less than 9 million clicks on "YouTube".
Dua Lipa's reappearance... on screen
The appearance of Dhurata Dora in "Sunny Hill" has created the impression that to put together such scenes, several elements are needed, which she proved one by one while performing. Style, dancing with choreography that suited the atmosphere, singing and honest communication with the audience. He had an exchange with the star Dua Lipa, who was in public on the second evening as well. She appeared on the screens at the side of the stage while singing Dhurata Dora. She was the one who invited him to say hello. Dua Lipa returned the greeting by making the eagle. "I want to love a lot. The next song is for you, too. That the question is: "Where are my Albanians tonight?" The crowd erupted in cheers. The fact that all three were born in the early 90s is not the only thing Dhurata Dora, Capital T of Yll Liman has in common. All three are among the most prominent artists of their generation, generate millions of clicks, and on Friday night they took to the stage of "Sunny Hill", which brings world stars.

Lancey Foux was the last act before the "headliner" of the second evening. The 28-year-old rapper from Stratford, London energized the audience for about 30 minutes with hip hop and trap sounds.
Julia H., is for the first time in "Sunny Hill". She says that she intends to get to know the names of the Kosovar music scene. He had the opportunity before the absolute star of this night, Burna Boy, whose performance lasted two and a half hours after midnight.

Despite the fireworks that signal Burna Boy's departure, the evening doesn't end there. DJ Danielle Johnsson, Chloe Callet's Artsassin. The lights of the "C4" stage soon turn on with "The Martinez Brothers", the duo of house, techno and hip-hop music. And this is the chapter with the fans for whom, for four nights, the sun rises and sets with "Sunny Hill".
