German biographer of Aleksandër Moisiu in Kosovo, announces another project

Rüdiger Schaper's book "Alexander Moses. Trieste – Berlin – New York. A legend of acting" was translated into Albanian by Feride Berisha and today parts of it will be read at the National Theater of Kosovo in Albanian and German. The author of the book, who is visiting Kosovo, will also be present.

Through a press release, it is announced that the Deputy Minister of Culture, Rexhep Hoti, has also received him today, to whom he has expressed MKRS's readiness to support him in other collaborations as well.

Among the issues that were discussed in this meeting is a project which is expected to be reviewed by MKRS to be realized. This project envisages the publication of a new work about Aleksandër Moisiu, which will include 51 letters exchanged between the actor and his girlfriend Sonja Wiber, at the end of his life, around 1934-35. "These correspondences are unpublished and it will be in the interest of the Albanian reader to have them in his hands", Hoti assessed.

Also, within the publication, it is planned to include a study by the author Schaper about Moses, previously unpublished photographs and an artistic piece at the end of the publication which could also be staged. And as part of the project, in Pristina, an exhibition with photographs of Moses will be held.

"We as the minister are ready to take the right steps to support an activity which would bring to the Albanian readers exclusive things of the great actor Aleksandër Moisiu, and it would be a thing for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to do this. wonderful", Deputy Minister Hoti said, among other things.

Meanwhile, for his part, the German author Schaper expressed that he feels satisfied to be in Kosovo, among the people of Aleksandër Moisiu, and thanked Deputy Minister Hoti for the reception and for the readiness for further cooperation in the realization of the planned projects.
