"Anibar" launches the edition for the heroes who ensure the continuity of life

Monday's rainy evening in Peja was an unexpected background for the "Anibar" International Animated Film Festival. However, this was not at all a problem for the launch of the event, which for a decade has become a flag that puts the western city of Kosovo on the cultural map of the world.

With this year's edition completely moved to the virtual space, "Anibar" on Monday opened its cover of the one-week program in a special way. A tribute to people who have served and continue to serve during the pandemic has served as a "letter announcement" for the well-known animation festival.

"Uncertainties are a common determinant of any form of action. In these times of uncertainty, a group of people is vowing that our race will continue", says the 11-minute video, which combined aerial views of the city of Peja, the spaces of the Festival and the work of the organizational team.

According to the video, the 11th edition of "Anibar" is dedicated to those "heroes" who heal, teach, create, write, serve, help, comfort and inform.
