Adem Zhitopotoku

The monodrama "I'm good when Shypnia is good" with Adem Zhitopotoku comes as a presentation of the life and activity of Boletini. It is rebellion against traitors and attempts to bring the Ottoman Empire to the head of Albania, helping to conquer it for personal favors

One night, while standing alone, he begins to cry because of himself. Isa Boletini talks about the conquest of all Albanian lands during the leadership of Prince Vidi, but who had left the throne. Except Shkodra had remained unoccupied. He had to decide whether or not he would stay as an army general in the country where the hostilities between the Albanians had started. One night, while standing alone, he begins to cry because of himself. It talks about the conquest of all Albanian lands during the leadership of Prince Vidi, but who had left the throne. Except Shkodra had remained unoccupied. He had to decide whether or not he would stay as an army general in the country where the hostilities between the Albanians had started. To avoid tense situations, he decides to stay in Shkodër.

The show comes as a presentation of the life and activity of Boletini. The narrative is tangled with a kind of inner desperation that is sometimes quite pronounced. It is rebellion against traitors and attempts to bring the Ottoman Empire to the head of Albania, helping to conquer it for personal favors. It is also the glory for the battles and the Albanian resistance, despite the lack of weapons.
The author of the play and actor Adem Zhitopotoku has said that the play is the result of several years of research into the history of Isa Boletini.

"It is a research of mine that I have done for several years as a passion that I had. I started somewhere in 2008. At first I thought I knew a lot about it, then reading I saw that I didn't know anything. Part of this data is information that I found during research. I think it is new information for the younger generation who have less time to read", said Zhitopotoku.

"It is a research of mine that I have done for several years as a passion that I had. I started somewhere in 2008. At first I thought I knew a lot about it, then reading it I saw that I had not been knowing anything", said the actor and the author of the text of the monodrama, Adem Zhitopotoku

He also mentioned the educational aspect of this monodrama, especially the conveyance of historical information to young people.

"It is information that is good for everyone to know, that nothing prevents us if we know that Illyria had an area of about one to three million square meters, while today we are an Albania and a Kosovo that are very little left. Those plans mentioned in the monodrama really have names and authors. They were like adjusting the world order, but the Illyrians were also part of that order and we suffered from that. Of all these Illyrians, only we Albanians have arrived to preserve the Albanian language, a new Illyrian language", said Zhitopotoku.

The director of the play, Faik Gashi, has emphasized the difficulties in staging a play that belongs to the monodrama genre.

"It is a passion of his to play and write historical themes. According to him, he has been dealing with this text for several years and in the ongoing conversation we have come to the conclusion of creating a piece of Isa Boletini's biography. It was hard work, since the monodrama is the most difficult genre, the whole burden falls on the actor, it is a theater of the word", said Gashi while he considered that the show was successful with the experience of the actor Zhitopotoku.

"When we have several characters on stage we can manipulate on stage, when we are dealing with an actor he must be very precise, in his acting and interpretation. It's quite hard work to keep the audience in suspense for half an hour with an actor. Considering his experience, the emotions he has, I believe we have succeeded, but this is best observed based on how the audience receives him", said Faik Gashi, director of the half-hour monodrama "I'm good when Shypnia is good" ".

He announced that the preparations for the show lasted two months as he had to work on reducing the text and adapting it for the stage.

The first rerun of the play will be given at the Isa Boletini tower next month, on June 30, when the ninth anniversary of the reburial of the national hero is marked.

"It is a great pleasure that we will continue the monodrama in the tower of Isa Boletini and in the city of Mitrovica. Since next month is the ninth anniversary of the reburial of Isa Boletini, we will mark this date on the top of Vesekovci, in the place where he raised the flag, before it was raised in Vlora", said the historian Gazmend Boletini, who is the great-grandson of Isa Boletini .

While talking about the show, he said that it shows the character's suffering at the time when the plans for dismemberment were still fresh. But according to him, the show still needs to be worked on. He said that this was a message for historians to work harder in dealing with this part of history.

"It's been 35 years of war for liberation and national unity. This was a part of his life. The author and the director have thought about one night in the life of Isa Boletini, how he spent it. In thoughts about the national issue. This was the meaning of this show", said Boletini.
