In the report: "The unfolding of security challenges within the Serbian community in Kosovo" it is stated that the fear of special units is present in 77 percent of the Serbian population in the north. The increased presence of members of the Special Police Unit in the north after recent security incidents has influenced the creation of insecurity and increased fear among the Serbian community in this part, it was said on Wednesday during the presentation of the report of the non-governmental organization "Aktiv". : "The unfolding of security challenges within the Serbian community in Kosovo".

Miodrag Miliçeviq, representative of "Aktiv", emphasized that based on the data of the Humane Center in Mitrovica, the fear of special units is present in 77 percent of the local population and that their presence is perceived more as a factor of instability and repression than safety.
