A case of attempted murder was reported in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Pristina.
According to a police report, the victim reported that a suspect fired a gun at him.
According to information so far, at the scene, authorities have found and seized a shell casing and a projectile, which will serve as evidence in investigative procedures.
During further police actions, the suspect's residence was also searched, where a pistol was found and seized.
The suspect is currently on the run, while law enforcement agencies are searching for him. The case remains under investigation to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

"The Pristina Regional Police, namely the investigators of the General Investigation Unit (GUI) in Pristina, have arrested a person suspected of attempted murder, and a firearm has been seized. The case occurred on 16.06.2026, on 'Holger Petersen' Street in Pristina. The suspect, by decision of the state prosecutor, has been detained while investigators continue with investigative actions," the Police statement said.
