Kosovo police have announced that one person died as a result of a car accident that happened on Sunday in the village of Bërnjak. He was one of the three passengers.
In this case, it is said that the arrested suspect is the driver of the car, who is said to be a citizen of Serbia.
"It is reported that there has been a traffic accident on the Zubin Potok - Brnjak national road, where as a result of the speed not being adapted to the road conditions, the car driven by the suspect, a citizen of Serbia, went off the road and collided with a rock. As a result of the accident, the three Kosovar male passengers suffered bodily injuries, and according to the doctors at the Mitrovica Hospital, one of them died. By decision of the prosecutor, the dead body was sent for autopsy, while the suspect (the driver of the car) was arrested and taken into custody", the police report states.
