A pedestrian died in Gjilan as a result of being hit by a vehicle.
The police said that the suspect carelessly hit the person in the pedestrian crossing, and the same person was taken into custody.
The victim's body has been sent for autopsy.
"The Kosovar male suspect has been arrested because he, while driving the vehicle, is suspected of carelessly hitting the Kosovar male pedestrian victim at the pedestrian crossing, causing serious bodily injuries. The victim died after being sent to the KKUK, whose death was confirmed by the medical team. By decision of the prosecutor, the dead body was sent to the IML for an autopsy, while the suspect was sent to custody", says the KP report.
