A 28-year-old man died and another was injured in a car accident in the early hours of Thursday in the village of Miresh in Gjilan, the Kosovo Police confirmed.
According to the announcement, the Police received information about the accident around 00:50 on the road axis Gjilan - Dheu i Bardhë.
According to the Police, the driver died at the scene, while the injured passenger was sent to the Gjilan Emergency for further treatment.
"The State Prosecutor also came to the scene of the incident, by order of which the dead body of the victim was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for autopsy. The circumstances of the case are being investigated by police accident investigators of the Regional Traffic in Gjilan", the announcement states.
