The police announced that the death of the victim was determined by the medical team at the scene.
The accident occurred on Friday morning between a car with foreign license plates and a truck.
"Today, at around 07:40, on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway at kilometer 26, a traffic accident with fatal consequences occurred. A heavy transport vehicle-truck, with local license plates, and a car with foreign license plates were involved in this accident. As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle lost his life, while the driver of the truck suffered injuries. The victim's death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene of the incident," Police spokesman Baki Kelani told KOHĖN.
In addition to the police units that are dealing with the case, the fire department and relevant units have also arrived at the scene.
