Kosovo Police announced that they have launched investigations into the death of a 26-year-old man, whose body was found on Sunday morning on the "Arbën Xhaferi" highway, near the village of Bob in Kaçanik.
According to the police report, police authorities have arrived at the scene, where investigators have determined that the death of the person with the initials IH did not occur as a result of the accident.
The case was initiated as a "death investigation", while the prosecutor for serious crimes from the Basic Prosecution of Ferizaj was also notified of this case.
"On 08.06.2025, at around 13:15, we were notified by a citizen about the discovery of the lifeless body of the victim IH (M/F) aged 26. It is suspected that the victim had suffered a traffic accident at around 05:00 in the morning on the 'Arbën Xhaferi' highway, near the village of Bob, municipality of Kaçanik. Immediately after receiving the information, the relevant Highway Traffic units arrived at the scene. After initial examinations by traffic investigators, it was determined that the victim's death did not occur as a result of the accident. Investigators from the Kaçanik police station also arrived at the scene, while at around 16:45, the Regional Investigations and Regional Forensics were also engaged", the Police announcement on Facebook says.
