Three foreign tourists were rescued by Albanian Police on Saturday after they were stranded in the Aquarium beach area in Himara.
As announced by the authorities, the three tourists were trapped in a rocky area.
All three are in good health.
"In addition to the duty to guarantee public order and security, the Police services remain committed to intervening and coming to the aid of any citizen or tourist in emergency cases. This evening, the police patrol on duty in the Jala area, after a report that three foreign tourists had been stranded in a steep rocky area, on the Aquarium beach, intervened by immediately going to the place where help was requested. After field searches, it was possible to locate the three foreign tourists, who were pulled from the rocks where they had been stranded. Currently, all three are in good health," the Police statement said.
