Three people died in the serious incident that occurred on Sunday in Majac, Podujevo.
According to official information from law enforcement agencies, it is suspected that a woman aged around 30 initially shot a man aged around 40 who was found dead in the car, and then shot another 73-year-old woman who, together with the suspect, was found injured but with signs of life at the scene.
They were taken to the Kosovo University Hospital in critical condition, the Kosovo Hospital, Clinical and University Service announced. At around 3 am, according to the Kosovo University Hospital, Clinical and University Service, the 73-year-old woman died, while the suspect in the case later died as well.
The motives of the incident are not yet known.
According to family members KOHA spoke to, after the suspect killed the 40-year-old man, she entered the home of the 73-year-old victim and took him hostage. Also, according to family members, at the moment the suspect entered the victim's home, the wife of the 73-year-old's son was also there with her children.

The Prosecution's announcement states that during the examination of the crime scene, a firearm and several cartridges were seized, as well as some other material evidence relevant to the case.
By order of the State Prosecutor, the bodies of the victims have been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
