The Kosovo police have arrested three people in the Pristina region on suspicion of drug trafficking in an operation codenamed "Colony".
According to the Police announcement, after the initial investigations around 17:30 at the roundabout in Fushë-Kosovo, a person with the initials DE was stopped in a car with local license plates. After that, the Police raided his apartment and found evidence or material evidence, packages of marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy and digital scales.
After that, the Police raided the apartment of the second suspect with the initials Sh.O.. They found marijuana and 200 euros in cash.
The operation was finalized with the arrest of the third suspect with the initials BI and the confiscation of a vehicle with local license plates with which he was suspected of transporting narcotic substances.
The measure of detention of 48 hours has been set for all three.
The police have said that they are conducting other investigations in cooperation with the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina.
"The Kosovo Police remains committed to preventing and fighting negative phenomena in our country, and in particular, strict legal measures are being applied and will be applied to suspected persons involved in the abuse and sale of suspected narcotic substances-drugs in general.
