A case of organizing pyramid schemes and illegal gambling, as well as illegal possession of weapons, has been reported in Decan. During the search, Kosovo Police found and seized a box of poker chips, an automatic weapon, ten cartridges, as well as a handbag containing a razor blade and a receipt.
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
"It has been reported that illegal activity is being carried out in a store owned by a Kosovar suspect. In consultation with the prosecutor, a raid was carried out on the premises, where a box of poker chips, an automatic weapon, ten cartridges and a handbag with a razor blade and an invoice were found and seized during the search. Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the case," the police statement said.
After the interview, by decision of the prosecutor, two of the suspects were taken into custody, while another was released in a regular procedure.
The case has been described as "Organization of pyramid schemes and illegal gambling & Unlicensed Weapons Possession".
