Five drivers had their licenses revoked in Ferizaj after they overtook the convoy on the emergency lane

Five drivers have been fined by the Kosovo Police for serious traffic violations after they overtook a convoy of vehicles using the emergency lane at the exit of the highway, in the village of Bibaj, Ferizaj, yesterday. 

The drivers punished are: S.TH. (27 years old), driving an Opel Astra; MM (22), driving a Mercedes with foreign license plates; SH.I. (26), driving a Mercedes; GA (30), driving a BMW; and A.SH. (67), driving an Audi Q5.

As announced by the Police, according to the Law on Road Traffic Rules, four drivers with Kosovo driving licenses were fined 300 euros, 3 negative points were imposed on them and their driving licenses were revoked for one year.

Meanwhile, the driver with a foreign driver's license was fined 300 euros and banned from driving in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo for one year.

The Ferizaj Regional Police warned that it will continue increased traffic controls and activities, with the aim of increasing road safety and law enforcement.

At the same time, the police call on citizens to report any traffic violations or dangers through the number 192, regional police numbers or the "Report the Police" application, guaranteeing that all information is treated with complete confidentiality.
