Gunshots were heard at the Peja bus station on Tuesday.
Police spokesman Driton Rugova said the incident occurred at around 12:20.
He did not announce whether anyone was injured in the incident, but said they are in the process of collecting data.
"Today at around 12:20 pm we received information about gunshots on 'Vëllezërit Gërvalla' street. We immediately went to the scene and are currently collecting evidence and information," said the information officer at the Peja Regional Police, Driton Rugova.
Police did not provide further details, adding that the case is under investigation.
