The Basic Court in Pristina has rejected the Prosecution's request to order pre-trial detention for the five suspects GZ, AG, LM, DG and EA, who are suspected of having co-perpetrated the criminal offense of "Abuse of official position or authority". Instead of pre-trial detention, the court ordered them to be banned from approaching more than 200 meters from the Municipality of Fushë-Kosovo.
The five suspects are accused of misappropriating property worth 1.5 million euros.
According to the court, they are also required to report to the police station.
This measure will be calculated from September 8 to October 8 of this year.
"Non-compliance with this measure by the defendants will be replaced with the measure of detention," the announcement states.
