The Basic Court in Pristina-Department for Serious Crimes today announced the Verdict, PKR.nr.39/13, by which the accused PR was found guilty and sentenced to a unique prison term of seven (7) six years (6) months, the press release from the Court announces, reports Koha.net.
The court has previously found that the accused PR is guilty because on 29.11.2010, around 22:30 in his bar "Te Shfaba" on "Edmond Hoxha" street in Pristina, after a conflict with the now deceased FG who was together with three other defendants, a physical fight had started between them, being thrown with beer bottles, punches and kicks where the accused PR received bodily injuries, while the deceased FM and the three defendants had left the bar.
The accused PR had taken the revolver from the counter of his bar and had shot several times in their direction, in which case he had now shot the deceased FG, who was killed at the scene.
With this action, the accused PR has committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder from article 147 par.4 of the Criminal Code, as well as the criminal offense of Unauthorized ownership, control, possession or use of weapons, from article 328 par.2 of KPK.
The time spent in detention from 29.11.2011 has also been credited to the accused in the imposed sentence, and the same measure of detention has been extended until the verdict becomes final.
The parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeal of Kosovo.
