The Kosovo Police on Thursday announced an explosion in a yard of a house in Zherovnica, Zveçan, which is suspected to have been caused by a hand grenade.
The deputy director of the police for the northern region, Veton Elshani, said that there was only material damage from the explosion.
The case is being investigated.
"Today in the early hours of the morning in Zvecan, respectively Zherovnica, an explosion was heard. It is suspected that the explosion was caused by a hand grenade which was thrown in a yard of a house. Minor material damage was caused, while no one was injured. "Relevant Police units have come to the scene and are dealing with the case," the Police announced.
