Kosovo Police on Friday conducted an action within the framework of the Operational Plan "Fighting the Informal Economy", seizing a large quantity of unlabeled tobacco products in Prizren and arresting one person.
According to the Police announcement, in three locations – including a kiosk and a warehouse – were seized: 318 packs (6,365 pieces) of cigarettes without banners or with Serbian banners, 256 electronic cigarettes of various types without banners, 19 electronic cigarette devices without banners, 4,550 grams of shisha flavors without banners, 80 pieces of the product with the inscription "snus", without banners and 3,000 pieces of cigarette filters without banners.
The suspect, ET (male, born in 1992), was detained for 48 hours by decision of the prosecutor and criminal proceedings were opened against him for the offense of "prohibited trade".
