A woman in Peja reported that she was raped by a person on Friday evening. The Kosovo Police has announced, in the 24-hour report, that the suspect has been arrested, while the victim has been sent for examination to KKUK. The suspect was taken into custody.
"Peja 11.10.2024-23:00. It is reported that a Kosovar woman was raped by the Kosovar male suspect. The suspect has been arrested. The victim was sent for a medical examination at KKUK. The suspect, after the interview, is sent to custody by the decision of the prosecutor", the Police report states.
And in one case in Pristina, two workers of a market reported that they were repeatedly harassed by three suspects. One of the suspects was arrested and taken into custody, the Police announced.
"Prishtina 12.10.2024-19: 50. It has been reported that two Kosovar women working in a market were continuously harassed by three suspected Kosovar men. "One of the suspects was arrested and after the interview by the decision of the prosecutor, he was sent to detention," the report states.
